PLAE shoes are available in a standard "average" width. There is no standard width system used by shoe manufacturers to determine the measurements of a narrow, medium, wide, or extra wide shoe. Our shoes have been described as average width, but there are a few features that help with the feel of the shoe. The insole is removable, and modular innerspace fit system (insole) allow for different fit needs.
All of our adult shoes are designed around the same shoe last, or foot mold/model so the fit expectation across styles should be generally the same for the same size. That said, the materials and cuts used for different styles can affect how the shoe fits when first put on, especially before they are broken in.
If you tend to need a wider shoe, we recommend trying the Larkin or Prospect – right out of the box they will feel wider.
